Visit of Castelbuono town famous for its castle from which its name derives and around which the city grew up in the 14th century, on the San Pietro hill. Castelbuono tour: the construction of the Castle began in 1316, by order of Count Francesco I of Ventimiglia, over the ruins of the ancient Byzantine town of Ypsigro, Hence its original name, Castello del buon aere (Castle of good air). The Castle mixes Arab-Norman features with others typical of the built during the Hohenstaufen rule of southern Italy the cube shape recalls Arabic architecture. In the second floor rises the sumptuous Cappella Palatina (Palace Chapel) was built in 1683 by the brothers Giuseppe and Giacomo Serpotta, with a great profusion of precious marble, stuccowork, putti, and friezes that commemorate the most resplendent moments in the history of the House of Ventimiglia and you can find around the town.

Noto : It is 32 kilometres southwest of the city of Siracusa at the foot of the Iblean Mountain and gives its name to the surrounding area, Val di Noto. Noto is famous for its fine buildings of the early 18th century, considered among the main masterpieces in the Sicilian Baroque style. It is a place of many religious buildings, there are several palaces, Churches and many others. The old has mixed with the new, and a view from the top of a building on the hill will show the older buildings mixed with new and rebuilt architecture. The Cathedral, began in the early 18th century and was completed in 1776.
Modica is an attractive historic town in south-eastern Sicily, one of the area s UNESCO-listed Baroque towns. Modica is particularly famous for its chocolate, and it is an appealing destination for food-lovers, making a good holiday base or day-trip destination.
Ragusa is one of the most picturesque towns in Sicily. The view from the upper town over Ragusa Ibla on its own separate hilltop is quite breathtaking. One of the UNESCO-listed Baroque towns of south-eastern Sicily, Ragusa is also one of the principal filming locations for the Sicilian detective drama Il Commissario Montalbano (Inspector Montalbano), a series which has done wonders for publicising the beauty of this area. With a new airport at Comiso, ten miles away, due to open, this is a tourist destination which is definitely up and coming.
